Where I’ve been lately
These are a few of my favorite feeds:
- DailyTechTalk
- The Daily WTF
- blargKABOOM
- The Usability Post
- gdgt weekly
- From Soup To Nuts
- pavlov.net
- Simply Ubuntu
- Ubuntu Blog
- Short Nerd Chief
They are in no particular order, but the ones I check more frequently are nearer to the top.
BOTM – February 2007
Not many things happen but once every four years. You have the Olympics & the presidential election. For a few poor saps, they only get to celebrate their birthday once every four years, on February 29th. So partly because I didn’t do one last month, and partly just because, these two go out to all of you who are aging at a quarter of the speed as the rest of us:
“Not quite everything Ubuntu, but close”
Simply Ubuntu – “because Linux isn’t just for nerds”
Happy Birthday.
No blog (otm) for January
Since my nomination for BOTM for the first month of this new year has been completely wiped off the face of the Internets, I decided to skip the month altogether. Actually I just got insanely busy at work and have had no down time to post. I am that much more determined to find a blog for our Leap Year February BOTM to make it extra special, since it has 29 days. I will be one of probably 3 people at work on Friday, so I expect to have a few minutes to give a middle-of-the-month report on how things are going and some new FREE stuff!
BOTM – December 2007
“The purpose of this blog is simple: to help you become an innovation machine. More creative, more collaborative, more positive, more effective, more aware of your relationship with the outside world”
He’s a musician…need I say more? Happy Christmas.
Blog of the month: November
At the end of each month, I will post a blog I have found interesting personally and relevant professionally. This month it is a friend who is a programmer and shares it with another friend. They write about programming, wordplay, and club sandwich reviews. It is updated every few days and is a great source for computer knowledge and humor – not a combination found very often. The site is xbYdx arbitrary symmetry. Check it out and leave some nice comments.
