Computer nerd checklist
Ten simple questions:
- Do you play video games on your computer?
- Have you ever purchased anything from Newegg.com?
- Are you the first person everyone you know calls when they have a computer problem?
- Have you ever installed/upgraded any hardware?
- Are all your USB ports taken?
- Do you know what “NetBeans” is?
- Are you running Linux?
- Have you assembled your own external hard drive enclosure to save money?
- Are you convinced you are the smartest person you know?
- Finally…are you reading this blog?
If you can answer “yes” to all these questions, you are a certifiable computer nerd! Congratulations…

Get rid of your crap
Now, when you buy a new PC, you don’t have to spend MORE time getting rid of all the “crapware” that comes pre-installed on your machine as you do actually setting it up in the first place (of course you could have just bought a Mac).
They also feature a blog of recent stories that are pretty interesting. For instance, I just saw that Sony wants you to pay them $50 to “pre-uninstall” all the crapware they put on your computer in the first place. How is this not a joke? Apparently, some people got mad and Sony took care of it. By that I mean, they no longer offer this service.
Test from WordPressDash
If this works, I have just posted from my Mac’s Dashboard via WordPressDash.
Here it is (and of course it’s free). Pretty sweet!
